IMPACT

At CAMI Health, we have built a network of over 2,700 researchers, funders, policymakers, and community members to ensure every woman has access to innovative, equitable, and life-changing  health solutions. Through collaboration and resource optimization, we identify and address priorities and gaps in gynecological, sexual, and reproductive health that can empower women with the technologies and information needed that are tailored to their unique needs at every stage of life.

Launched in 2009, the Initiative for MPTs (IMPT) optimizes funding and unlocks resources and social capital to advance multipurpose prevention technologies (MPTs) - a new class of prevention products that provide protection from infections and unplanned pregnancies at the same time.MPT field. Our product-neutral learning network serves as a platform for identifying fieldwide priority action areas and driving innovation through insights, collaboration, awareness-raising and advocacy for MPT development. Today, over 20 MPT product candidates are in development to help address women’s diverse needs.

In 2024, we laid the groundwork to expand CAMI Health’s reach by building internal capacity and developing a strategic plan for our new Healthy Aging Impact Area.

Together, we are not just filling gaps—we are transforming the lives of women and families on a global scale, paving the way for a healthier, more equitable future for all.
